Data properties
We accept the following file formats:
- DCP or video data as MP4, MOV or MPEG
- Still images as JPG or TIFF
- Audio data as WAV or AIFF
Our recommendation:
PICTURE
- Resolutions 2K Flat (1998 x 1080) or Full HD (1920 x 1080)
- 8 or 16 bit colour depth, RGB colour space
- Frame rate 24 fps (frames per second)
SOUND
- 5.1 Soundmix

YOUR DATA DOESN’T FIT?
If the data doesn’t quite meet our requirements, we will adapt it free of charge whenever possible. The following adjustments are included:
- Stereo to 5.1 surround sound blow-up
- Adjustment of the volume when exceeding 82 dB LEQ
- Conversion of the frame rate from 25 to 24fps
Important: When converting 25fps content, advertising time changes and the media price increases. Calculation of the new length in seconds: Length in sec * 25 / 24 = New length in sec.(Example: 30 * 25 / 24 = 31.25). Half seconds are rounded up.
Delivery of the data with Weischer.upload
- Open the website upload.weischer.net and select cinema screen advertising as the format of the advert
- Fill in your contact information and release identification*
- Provide details about your advertising film
- Select file type for delivery
- Upload
*The release identification corresponds to the e-mail address of the Local Sales Manager responsible for you; for national advertising it will be sent with the order confirmation.
Delivery by 23:59 at the latest on the Sunday evening before the start of the campaign.
AUTOMATIC TEST REPORT
After a successful upload, the data is automatically checked and the detailed check results are sent by e-mail. There are three main results of the check:
- Everything is fine, the data corresponds technically to our instructions
- The data does not correspond exactly to our instructions, but we can still use it (see free adjustments)
- The data does not correspond to our instructions and cannot be used
